Welcome to our very casual, eclectic and rather hit-or-miss updates. We are trying to mostly document the exciting adventures of our lives as natural-minded, educated, broke, living abroad, first-time parents that try our best to follow the way of Jesus. We also know that pretty much the only readers we have, are really just visiting the blog to see pics of their grand baby. So, I'll do my best to keep those updates coming!

It's snowing...again!!!

Our weather has been uncharacteristically warm, or so I am told by my students. It has been so nice like 50- 60 degree weather which feels really warm when you are coming out of a long, snowy winter. So, needless to say I have been enjoying the weather and thinking about the coming of spring and gardening and yard sales and fresh produce...and then I got up this morning and everything was white. It snowed....AGAIN. Although the snow really is beautiful, it was just a bit depressing to realize that we are very much still in winter... and spring is not here yet...sigh. I planned to do some cleaning today cause our apartment is getting out of control and it is hindering my ability to relax. So I am committing to move forward with my "spring cleaning" and do a little housework before David and I spend fun time together going out. What are your plans for the weekend?

I think it's going to be winter in North Dakota, at least Western North Dakota, until July... we have over four feet of snow!

my plans for the weekend...well saturday I did a bunch of laundry because the weather was so nice. I also helped out with a mom & tots ministry in the morning that my school puts on. We had 4 kids and 4 moms it was great! Sunday I went to church, went to starbucks where some friends were playing live music...now I am in my apartment eating spaghetti. It's been a good weekend. Thanks for asking! Love ya C!

snow!!! YAY!!! where's the pictures??? we had a nice dinner last night with Loretta and Harmonie- up early this morning to a breakfast of pink chocolate chip pancakes, now off to church, then Noah and I are gonna spend the night at Aunt Jodie's- still checking the flights- keep ya posted- love you lots!!!

Deane and I had a nice dinner at spaghetti factory... we can only go there when we aren't with kids because no else likes to go there! I had four Valentine parties last week... one in each of my classes, so it was a very busy week! A night out with just the two of us was a real treat!!! Wish I could be there with you to play in the snow... spring will be here before you know it! Miss you both so much! Love you, Mom
